About Us
Alternatives in Action is a non-profit that works with youth who have leadership potential and prepares them for college, career and community.
Many people see youth as a problem to be solved. At Alternatives in Action, youth solve problems.
Through education, skills-building and real world experiences, young people, some of whom may otherwise fall through the cracks, become successful, contributing adults and leaders in their community.
Alternatives in Action operates the Bay Area School of Enterprise and the Home Sweet Home Preschool on the West End of Alameda and after school programs in Alameda and at partner sites in Oakland: BEST/Excel High Schools, Life Academy and the Youth Empowerment School. Our programs directly impact over 700 children and youth each year.

Very cool! Good job! Proops to whoever made it.
We should do something in the big room to show it to the youth, I think they'd get a kick out of it.
The only slight negative besides the fact that I'm not in it is that I was distracted by the use of AIA in the captions.
